1991 back in the semi dark ages we were no good in anything we would salvage the season by screwing up the Illini.
I remember one game we beat a ranked Illini and may have kept them out of the Rose Bowl with a 17-11 football win and we responded by throwing the goalposts into the lake.....we sucked but at least we took some consolation in screwing up our rival's great season..... this year in hoops to their credit illinois sucks but they're doing the same back to us.
