Brad Underwood:
On the game: A game in which Northwestern had six offensive rebounds, they had two of them in the last three minutes. Give Turner a lot of credit, he stepped up and made the shot. Our execution for the most part was pretty good, Ayo [Dosunmu] had another superb game, made some nice finishes. I've done this 31 years and you see it all. You lose some of these games but they come back to you. We have some hurting guys in our locker room, but you're excited cause it hurts. That's when you're playing the right way.
On the emotional nature of the game: [Our guys] are tired of it. A two-possession game in Indiana, these kids are bought in, they're becoming closer through all of this, and that's exciting, it makes it really fun. Two of our top three scorers are freshmen, our leading scorer is a sophomore. We're getting there.
On the three-point shooting: Lot of ways to win a game, to challenge to win a game. I'll take 42 points in the paint. Give some credit to Northwestern's defense. We had some decent looks and on occasion this happens.
On Northwestern's defense: We were trying to put Vic Law in every action because they switch everything, he had four fouls, it was a bit of a chess match.
On the atmosphere: Building is fantastic, kudos to [Northwestern's] administration, it was fun to see so much orange in the stands. I'm sure Northwestern would like a better home attendance, but our fans took care of that.
