OK..so the Cubs managed to get back to the WS after a 71 yr drought.
Unfortunately for them its been 108 yrs since they actually "won" the WS.
Cleveland is now up 2-1 and is guaranteed themselves of going back to Cleveland for gm 6 if necessary and gm 7 if necessary.
The Billy Goat is for real people.

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his *** on the ground when he jumps. He's a reason I hope the Cubs never win a WS. Watch Catching Hell and you cannot help but feel sorry for the guy.
The cubs would lose their title as loveable losers if that happened. They may lose a few bandwagon fans if they win

If you didn't enjoy that game last night, then baseball is just not your sport. That was a tense nail biting SOB if I ever saw one, in front of a crowd that to say was intense is a vast understatement. I don't have a rooting interest in either team, but damn, that was some game.

Cubs have been blanked in two of the first three games in the World Series.
They have also been blanked in 4 of their last eight GMs including the NLCS.
If that's not choking I don't know what is.

If the cubs win there will be riots, if they lose there will be even more riots and a group of henchmen out to cut off Bartmans head still from 2003

Suck it, Cubs. Suck it Chicago in general really. Haven't watched the series in a few years and I tuned in to watch the Cubbies fans boo hoo after that three run shot tonight. It was great.

The curse of the Billygoat is like Mom's Apple Pie, Taxes and Death...you can count on it like clock work.

1908...Damn.

103 regular season wins.
It just doesn't matter when you're cursed.

Just looked up Jason Kipnis bio, did not realize he redshirted on UK's SEC champion team in 2006, then played one year before transferring to Arizona State. Damn, were we really that good in 2006 that Kipnis did not even play???

I love when teams/fans react to 3-1 or 3-0 deficits by quoting statistics that have only happened a handful of times in the history of the sport. Seems reasonable.

Cause you know, when talking about all-time great teams that did the impossible, you throw in the team that's had 108 years of suck.

Bc screwing up with a foul ball in the 8th with 1 out = automatic blame for 8 runs scored in one inning. I honestly cant think of a possible scenario in which any other sport could be put into this kind of scrutiny fan wise.

What would be worse for Cubs fans? To lose 4-1 or 4-2 like they should have, or to get one game from it all and blow it? Gotta be the latter, right?

If I ever have to diffuse a bomb and have to cut either the green wire or the red wire, one diffuses the other goes boom, I am going to ask KWilt which to cut.

Then do the opposite.
