Carolina beats OU this Saturday. Here is why:
1. OU has not beaten a ranked opponent all season. The one ranked opponent they faced destroyed them.
2. If not for bad officiating (acknowledged by the SEC for its errors) OU would have likely lost to Auburn.
3. Venables has proven himself to not be a good head coach.
4. Mateer's injury is obviously not healed and is affecting his throwing and fear of aggravating the injury prevents him from being a true running threat.
The OU defense is better than it has been but it isn't dominant. I think Carolina can move the ball and score unless they shoot themselves in the foot.
