From what I'm hearing it's Drew all day. Easy buyout. Sure after our dryspell let's go easy, safe. So from what I have read Drew alternating defensively, but hasn't broke the top 70 the past 2 years. For sure after a huge drought let's get a guy on the downswing.

I'm so happy Cal us gone but instantly just as worried Barney will a rew this up. You have to catch a tiger by it's tail. You already sold us out to Cal. Offer the world to the top guys. Just don't let me here Drew this week. Give us a chance to be inspired.

Also watching Seth and Bilas praise Cal made me sick. Only icecream for J is on his bald head. They both made it seem like it was BBN like this **** the past 4 years just happens. I'm convinced J now likes us down here and Baldy gets a few bucks from Cow.

Like it or not, the media hates us and is going to paint us as a horrible place that uses coach’s up like toilet paper and then bullies them out of town. The internet and ugly stuff said on it gives them receipts. Holding my breath. If it’s Drew, just wow.

When Bilas appears too close to the camera he looks like a lizard-skinned alien. He hates UK, doesn't deserve free ice cream, sucks as an announcer and overall can honestly go to ******* hell.

If it was worded like that then it's obviously dumb.

But I would say, even though I despise Oats, that he has more momentum as a coach than Cal does. Oats is in his prime, Cal is toast.

I think he and most are not happy with Cal’s last decade and not happy with where me might be going for a while. Sick to my stomach and hoping we pull a rabbit out of the hat but it’s a totally different game now. With NIL and the portal, anything could happen. Anything.

I never said anything about coach vs coach. That’s another argument. She said “Nate Oats has built a more successful program than what UK has”.

My point is this fanbase has a distorted view of the program. There’s a sense of entitlement that isn’t shared by the rest of the country. No one should be happy eith the last 5 years. I think it was probably time for a change. But Hurley, wright, billy d and all these guys were a pipe dream. It’s a fun fantasy. But our wild passion for uk basketball is a big part of the reason that those guys won’t come here in the first place. There is probably just about 3 people truly built for instant success here. One of them was cal and one was Pitino.

While it was probably time for a change, making a change just for the sake of change is a huge riisk and we are about to find out.

He isn’t the ceiling for the job. He’s Barnharts type of guy and the timing of Cal bailing instead of starting all of this 2 weeks ago shortens the window for all concerned both UK and potential candidates because of portal action so it’s under the gun. And Mitch doesn’t do anything well under a time crunch. That being said it has always felt that it’s the guy he likes.

I'm not twisting words - just trying to imagine what they meant, since I didn't hear it in the first place and don't know whether you're relaying it accurately. Given that you went straight to the drugs comment obviously my hesitation to trust your recounting was well-founded.

Some facts:
1) UK is immensely superior to any SEC program in history, and in my opinion is the #1 college basketball program of all time.
2) Calipari did great early in his time at UK, but in recent years has lagged behind the success of numerous blue-bloods and even other SEC teams (Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, and Tennessee particularly have outdone him lately). That's not acceptable here and it's why we're glad he's gone.

Is it clear now? Or is that drug-test worthy?

If you agree with me that Kentucky is a better program than Alabama, what’s your argument? She said Alabama is a better program than Kentucky.

Maybe you don’t understand English. I would write it out in Spanish and Chinese but don’t know how.

To get back to the original thread, I'm not a huge Drew fan but he does have as many championships as Cal. I would love to have someone at UK that will keep guys for a few years and bond as a team. Teams win games. Individual players don't. Just look what Edey did last night, but still does not have a ring. Gotta have a team.

Some of us don't need to be" inspired " we just need a solid basketball coach willing to put the Unoversity and program first. Such a coach will be successful here. How did the last Rockstar we had end up for us
