I still remember my junior year, when Nebraksa was 1, OU was 2 and Colorado was 3. And the Game of the Century was played in Norman.

Nothing in my life ever broke my heart more, while simultaneously making me so proud. If only...

The Big 2 and Little 6 days. Occasionally one of the Little 6 would rise up in the conference. Pretty similar like the ACC with Clemson and Florida State. That ship has sailed. But I did miss the old guard Nebraska fans. Very fun football discussions with those loyal people.

Every fan except Alkohusker. Whatever happened to that guy? Is he even still alive?

Growing up in the 70s and 80s under the "King's" watch, I always felt the Huskers were OUr biggest rival. I remember the days leading up to husker. All was quiet as the excitement was buried under nervousness just ready to explode. That rivalry will always be at top for me. Sad what husker has become.

A once proud program going through head coaches like underwear. Big 10 jump was a bad decision. So many Husker fans already preparing for the worst with Ruhle and a QB that has tunnel vision. Well that the deer season & corn harvest to look forward to this fall.

When was the last time you heard anyone refer to the Sooners as "Big Red"? Or the "Go Big Red" chant in the stadium? Seems to be a tradition that has died a quiet death.

Ruhle is a good coach, but resurrecting Nebraska may not be possible for him or ANY coach. A once storied program may be lost forever.

Osborne and pederson ruined that program. Imo. Never understood Toms intentions for letting Solich go. Mind boggling.
