I had complained earlier in the season and I was pretty loud about it!

6 wins and a bowl is all I ask for...

We will get that.

Anything beyond that would have been wonderful, but I'm still okay with it all.

I'm not crazy about a lot of Stoops' coaching decisions, but it's all good...

I wish that some of our fans would understand that it's never gonna get a whole lot better than this.

Then U.K. Doesn't belong in the SEC. You may accept this but I don't and never will.

Again....then stop investing $$$$ into football. There is no return to the fans.

Take the SEC $$$ put it into something else.

Will you be fine with this next year when the team is just as good as they are now, but wins 4 games because other teams get better?

That's just not true. I am happy with 6 wins, as well. But that's just this year. Next year will be different. There's no reason Kentucky cannot win big in the SEC.

When the season started, I had dreams of being truly competitive but I now realize that it's not going to happen.

After the first 2 games I adjusted my wishes and expectations.

A bowl game!

Anything beyond that is gravy!

You're right and that's what most should expect THIS YEAR. Next year is a completely different story, however.

I'll never get TOO carried away with my expectations...

Even when we recruit well, we're still lower to middle of the pack in the SEC talent wise, and we damn sure ain't gonna "out coach" anybody.

If you're going to go 6-6 you have to have 6 losses somewhere. Today was one of the somewheres. Too many mistakes on O and a terrible effort by the D. UK's desperate for front 7 recruits.

I'd like a team that

1. Can win when given every break in the world by the refs and our opponents, like in the Georgia game
2. Can at least look competitive when a win carries the potential of an SEC CG bid. They can lose. They just have to look like they've seen a football before.

Neither of these things happened.

Happy we will go Bowling. Program needs it.

But we will lose 3 of our last 4 and did not beat anyone with a winning record. That fools gold stuff and things we bash UL for all the tine.

6-6 is hopefully where we end up but we still aren't competitive against good teams (UF, UT and Bama...UL beatdown is probably coming). Only UGA will be a winning record team we played a competitive game against.

It is nice that we have a running game to build off of for next year...but we have to firm up the DL. We are still a worlds away up front in the trenches on that side of ball.

After over 40 years of watching UK football, it would be silly to realistically expect us to TRULY compete in the SEC.

My point was, that I won't whine too much as long as we make a bowl most years, which is something that we haven't done much over the years.

I guess that makes me a loser...

Becoming competitive with a second string QB with no experience that is limited in his abililties and young guys everywhere else.. I'll take it. A win over UL or bowl opponent and its a huge bonus.
