I'm listening to KSR to hear Stoops

I'm reminded why I can't listen to these boobs anymore. Jones has spent so much time complaining about complainers it's pathetic.

But the worst is when he says how hard it is to do his job and as an example they tried people out and they couldn't even fill up two minutes. How stupid!

When I worked my job was to terminate high voltage. I wonder how good Jones would be at that the first two minutes attempting that job. They are so self consumed!

I won't even go into the things he says that expose how little he knows about Kentucky football.

I don't complain a great deal about him because I don't listen anymore. I wish I could hear Stoops talk without all this fluff.

Sorry if I offended any of his fans here but my word the guy can say some stupid stuff while complaining about other people.

Well i think most people like to think their jobs are important and that not just anybody can do it....Matt is no different in that notion.

All he said was most people couldn't do that job because it's not as easy as they think. And he is correct. Hell, most of us can't put coherent thoughts into a post that we have time to sit and think about first. Letalone try to come up with it on the fly.

MJ has the gift of gab. I couldn't fill 2 minutes if you gave me a month to prepare. Betting you couldn't either.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I didn't say his job was easy --- but to compare somebodies performance the first two minutes of their effort to your own performance over many years is just a tremendously stupid comparison that never should have been brought up. And it wouldn't have by somebody who gave it a few seconds of thought.

Everybody job has its challenges. Some people do their jobs better than others. Trying to justify your job performance by comparing to someone who has no experience is just ignorant.

I guess everyone hears what they want to hear. I felt he was just saying that picking a fan to do the show wouldn't work because it's not as easy as it looks. Of course no one is as good the first 2 minutes of a new job as they're going to be. or as good as someone that has been doing it for years.

I don't see what's wrong with what Matt Jones was saying. I'm a computer engineer and also think that most people wouldn't last for 2 minutes doing what I do. Only thing different is that Matt has a radio show to speak about it and I don't. I think a lot of people are like that about there jobs. Doesn't mean anyone is self consumed at all..... Hey Stoops basically said the same thing, but in different words, don't think he's self consumed.

I don't listen to his show except for today. I say the reason nobody could fill two minutes is because he probably constantly interrupted them. Drives me crazy. One guy barely got four words out today (litearlly) before Matt interrupted him.

Probably doesn't bother most people, but I can't stand it. When a talk show host constantly interrupts, I don't listen. I listened today for Stoops and was very, very pleased with the interview; both of what Stoops said and how MJ handled it.

I was very disappointed in the cats , season and still am, but i did like what Stoops had to say,he owned it, and he's right about our history,and changing that does take time,and alot of hard work, has he made mistakes yes he has , but he owned it,,,,he's learning to as a first time head coach,,,,, won me back over,I'm gonna give him another year before i pass judgement.....

Yeah , if it wasn't for Matt Jones we wouldn't have gotten Stoops to address the fans at all . OP is one of those " hey kid , get off my lawn! " types

OP is a good poster, I just don't understand the beating of the dead horse. What was done today was soley setup by Matt Jones. Our fanbase had questions, and we needed answers. Hate Matt Jones all you want, but without his platform, today doesn't happen. If you hate Matt, and still wanted to listen to Mark, today you just had to suck it up a little.

I understand the posts about beating a dead horse and such. I just don't listen to the guy much and when I do he grates me the wrong way. I admit Jones has done some things I like but I just don't like his shtick. I'm aware I'm not his target audience. Today I was one of his favorite targets---I'm an "old person". He spent some time talking about all that is wrong with in his words "old people". I also think its weird how so many folks post the "Per Matt Jones" stuff here where the best info on Kentucky football is available. To each his own.

I don't hate Jones I just don't care for his fluff.
