Regardless of whatever fight y’all are having, I just want to point out that professional wrestling fans know it isn’t “real.” I watch it to this very day and have trained/performed in it, albeit at a much, much lower level than what you’d be familiar with. It isn’t easy — it is a grueling sport and requires a lot of work to even become passable at it. I know it isn’t the most sophisticated pastime, but I think if you educated yourself more on just how ridiculously multi-talented some of the premier athletes are in that industry, it would at least be something you may find some appreciation for, even if it isn’t your thing.
But what if they lost him, their starting PG, Cayden had transferred and their best wing shooter was out? Pope has to do a better job, particularly with roster construction, but not everything is his fault. He does seem to be playing the starters more. OO and DA played 37, CC 35. Noah and Johnson only played 8 and 6. We do have to get something out of those 2 and Jelly if we are going to win any of the remaining 3.
Some people are more emotionally invested in the coach than they are the whole dang program. I could easily shrug them all off as trolls, but there are way too many parasocial Pope fans for me to think otherwise. It’s f-ing weird.
they’re easily bought by charm and charisma. This guy did it with Calipari too. I’m sure he did it with Tubby and Billy G. They take the face of the coach and slap it on the image of the program. They see the coach as the program. They’re fans sure, but very misguided and that’s why they end up looking so foolish. They don’t separate the coaches from the program itself. If they did, this wouldn’t be so hard for them to see.

I have said many times wait until the team is at full strength. Ain’t happening now. I still feel we would be a different team had it all come together. Might be wrong but feel Lowe wasn’t what I thought he was. He might have fell in line and been more of a team player than he showed at times, when healthy. Either way. With our injuries we should be much better than Auburn, Missouri, Georgia, etc. we just should be. Love Pope, want him to turn it around in year 3 (which he will get even regardless what most people think)but not so sure he can. If he can, great, if not, move on please. I want to get back to expecting to win every single game. That is what UK is, an expectation of winning every game, even though we won’t.

Ironically, this board has been SCREAMING for years about not having Kentucky boys on the roster. Cal was ripped constantly over that. Yet, now Pope is ripped for having them on the roster and even giving them some minutes! You can't make this stuff up!
Can you tell me, with honesty, that this team looks well coached at least 50% of the time they are playing? Let’s forget about injuries. Let’s forget about who stayed and who left. Let’s forget about everything. This team has been practicing together for quite some time. Lowe hasn’t been with them for a long while. Acaden never was. So, with the boys on the team, when they are playing on that floor together, do you think they look well coached more than 50% of the time. And remember, Gods reading this.

When someone says it’s “fake”, what they mean is that is a predetermined or choreographed fight and so I will agree with those people that it is “fake”. However, some of the people that perform at the highest levels have talent that is anything but fake, and their injury risk and pain are very much real. Most people in that industry don’t consider it fake and would take insult to it being said to them. They pay a heavy price for their peculiar brand of entertainment.What’s this nonsense about it being fake? Stop trolling.

I took my son and told him stories of 96 for days. I took him downtown to the expo center before the first game, watched Mark talk about his team. I think he’s an amazing dude. His autographed picture is on my son’s wall right now. But the team doesn’t look well coached. I’m all for a third year, no matter what happens this season. He deserves it. But just answer the question if you can. And I’m talking about this team, not last years team. Just to clarify.
