The fanatics over reacted after the Pitt loss. I think tonight proved this is a much improved team, They will have their up nights and down nights. What an up night tonight was. First top 5 win since 1979! NU will give teams trouble when shooting well.
Michigan State was the team playing without heart tonight. They were expecting to win without having to break a sweat.
The difference tonight was (especially) effort and shot selection (that last one for the most part -Collins had to send an additional message during tonight’s game, but did do early enough to make a difference.
We shot 52%. Confidence begets confidence. And when the ball hits nylon, you get confident.

Yes tonight was great effort and execution. Izzo had effort issues and the Spartans were flat (kind of like our 2nd half against Pitt). I still think Izzo is a great coach and wouldn't want to play them next. Great win earned by the players and coach.

Well MSU beat Duke and we beat MSU so I think it’s a clear choice for him now.
