Exactly. Until there is real evidence to the contrary, this man's reputation as a human being is being dragged through the mud on social media in an effort to get a different head coach that a fanbase thinks will get more wins. Whatever you think of him as a head coach, nobody deserves that unless they actually did what is being alluded to.
Schiano is the victim here. Absolutely ZERO evidence he knew.
Agree, but if tennessee fans have convinced the adminstration the hire isnt worth it, a storm the twitter by a few dozen RU fans is an absolute waste of time and 5mb of data.

It doesn't matter to me if Greg is hired as a head coach, but at least get the story correct.
It is ‘no evidence’. Mcqueary says greg allegedly knew because a GA at the time told him that Greg told him that he saw Sandusky in the shower.
Whether or not Greg knew, it's a touchy subject so why even bother getting in the middle of something that doesn't involve us
Not trying to get him rehired. Just think it’s unfortunate his reputation is being tarnished. And it’s not just RU fans. Other fan bases, media, etc are all supporting him.
That is right, just like JoePa, they are out to get Greg. He didn't know, he never knew nothing, and none of you's can prove it. It is a frame by those out to get Greg and JoePa, all hearsay, no evidence.
The actual part of the disposition that mentioned Greg was thrown out because it was hearsay.

If someone gets drunk & out of hand at an office x-mas party, it's gossiped about for years.
If you see something like Sandusky was doing, it becomes an open secret.
Greg's defense is really only that he was 25 years old at the time. How many 25 years olds at their first dream job are going to take charge of the investigation?

Sorry, but if I heard "gossip" about one of my coworkers sexually abusing boys then I certainly hope I would have enough courage even at 25 to speak up and bring it to someone's attention in law enforcement. We are taking about children being sexually abused, not who is dating who.
