Save me from google, how many years of eligibility he have left?
He is the guy you love to have and hate to play against. He’s cocky and a good shooter and there is a place for a guy like that. He would for sure be a guy who isn’t afraid to take a clutch shot cause he has done it many times. Sure bigger fish out there but this kid can play as well.
True but Pope needs to reel in those bigger fish.

Yeah he’s in the portal. I agree we still need a couple more Booker but we still have time and room. If Peterson decides to reclass and come here it doesn’t get much bigger but that’s mid July so lots can still happen.
This would be a terrible addition….he was recruited over by Arizona for a reason. Thinks he is wayyyyyy better then he is and worse tries to take all the pressure shots even when there are other better players.
I have no problem with Kriisa as a depth piece. I say let Pope get the guys he wants. What I'm more worried about, is how many guys we have who will be here for 1 season then graduate. I really wanted to get a roster of guys that can be here a couple seasons or more and develop some continuity. Right now our potential returners are only:

He's garbage compared to what's left out there. Couldnt stand the kid at Arizona.
He played on 1 and 2 seed AZ teams as a key piece….and ppl are acting like he’s a scrub.

The last 3 players need to be dudes. You need a really good PG, a really good scoring wing/guard, and a good whatever at the last spot. A good scorer, a good wing, a center. Those last 3 spots need to be good players
I'm sure Pope and all the coaches out there, especially given our coaching staff was running those same circles last year knows all the positives and negatives and are happy to have him.
Yes because coaches never make mistakes or miss on recruits.

He had one good year at Arizona . Was horrible last year . This looks like someone they would grab because they don’t expect to get any of the good guards available

Some skepticism is ok. Just because you ''ride with'' a coach doesn't mean you have to support every move he does. He needs actual stars, not these role player guys. To fill out the roster.

I'm sure the best coaches in history have made mistakes. just because someone doesn't like a certain signing doesn't mean you hate the coach.
Gotta have kids who are happy to come off the bench. He can make shots. And probably has a small NIL requirement. If Pope likes him I’m all for it.

Butler can’t be our primary PG, I really like him in 2nd team situations but they need a clear cut starter
