The ones who enter the portal and don't come back are the ones that we KNOW didn't want to have to do actual work in learning different types of offensive and defensive sets, the one who weren't willing to be part of something bigger where their role might be helping to create shots for others, instead of "getting theirs".

Loved that line. Pope really does “understand the assignment”. Talking about winning banners in Nashville in the SEC Tournament, Final Fours, and National Championships. Making sure that the players know that wearing the Kentucky jersey is a great honor and how that is a privilege that a few get to enjoy. He freaking nailed this and I can’t wait for next season. Haven’t been this excited in a while.
