Bohemian Rhapsody, for all its features, is actually an unflushable turdI know its not popular but Queen. I just have never cared for their music. Its an on-going argument with my wife.

I'd hit it as well. She is among a bunch of female vocalists I'd trim.COUNTERPOINT: I would still nail Madonna -- even if I would rattle around in her like a pill in an aspirin bottle.
Also, the eye patch provides a good target.
Gonna get clobbered for this....
The Beatles
Twist and Shout belonged to Cincinnati Isley BrosI would not say "overated" but would agree a lot of their material sounds dated, unless you think Yellow Submarine or Lovely Rita are classics.
But at the same time, their early stuff, e.g., Twist and Shout plus their biggest hits like Let it Be, Revolution, Long and Winding Road, have aged awfully well.

Totally disagree.Kurt Cobain.
He could BARELY play. If he hadn't offed himself he'd be related to the dustbin of history.
Totally disagree.
He had a huge impact on the music industry and pop culture as a whole.
Would he regarded as a rock icon today if he were alive.
He really left behind a small amount of material.
Rolling Stones way better and it's not even close. The Beatles are like a Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton movie. By modern standards it sucks but still one of the iconic and important bands in history.
The Rolling Stones won the long game. Every single thing they did pre-80s is banging other than that crap where they tried to be psychadelic in the 60s for an album.
Damn devil whiteyYes and their original is very good as well, but the Beatles made it world famous

I thought this band sucked.

The Dude abides.Better than the Eagles.
You are correct but that's what makes him overrated.Totally disagree.

Thanks but I'm way up here in NKy... always interested in hearing about great guitarists.OT, but hey P19978, it seems like I remember you're a guitarist/musician and if you happen to live within decent driving distance of Nashville you ought to check out Monte Montgomery this Friday night at 3rd and Lindsley. Dude is a monster guitarist/performer.
I agree with you on Brooks, Bon Jovi, and Springsteen, but totally disagree about the Eagles.
The Eagles and Elvis overrated? [roll]
shew wee damn people, those takes are absolutely indefensible [laughing]
Modonna...who are the most overhyped/overrated musicians/singers of all time?
My list would start with Phil Collins.
Totally agree.Madonna. The top selling female of all time. However she isn't a very good singer and didn't even write her hit songs. She was good at shaking her *** and being controversial. Now she is just pathetic.

Totally agree. I’ve never understood the Springsteen love. I think he’s a talentless douchebag in every way.Bruce “mumbly” Springsteen
I love the Allman Brothers.A lot of musicians in this thread that I really like and many that I don't. Thankfully nobody included The Allman Brothers or I'd have to go ballistic. Now that I said that 3,2,1....
Springsteen.
