Inability of 80% FT shooters to hit their FTs

That's kind of the definition of choking---not doing in the clutch what you would normally do in the rest of the game. With all the criticism of Collins, he still had his team in a position to win----if we had made the free throws.
We had a double digit lead with two minutes left. It shouldn't have come down to a couple missed FTs. This one is all about poor recruiting the past few years (no balance in the lineup) and an attitude of refusing to attack when nursing a late lead.
Look, IA hit their last 7 shots in a row. Including some ungodly well guarded 3s. And most of those shots were taken with about 25 on the shot clock. They are known for their O execution but even for them, it was pretty unbelievable. They miss even one and game is over. Hit our Fts and game is over. You cannot say that IA hitting those shots is us chocking but you can point to missing FTs down the stretch as.... We have seen other examples of this earlier this year as well. Interesting that Pardon, a 60% FT shooter is clutch down the stretch but our 80% + guys are not
