Their Qb is special. He makes that offense go. Great combination of rbs and receivers. #31 on defense is a man child
What happened to the 4 star players from Mt Tabor. Dang not even close

Maybe if Page had played Independence's schedule they wouldn't have made the playoffs at all.
West Forsyth and Regan got a better draw than Tabor and East Forsy in round 1. And East Forsyth and Tabor had a higher seed, but an unfortunate draw to get the 2 Charlotte Schools. Hell East Forsyth had a tough draw with Butler a 30 seed. To be the Best you got beat the best
West Forsyth struggled with Cutherbson
That honor is reserved only for Independence.
Same thing happened to them last season when they played 4 playoff games, all on the road. They beat Lake Norman, East Forsyth, and Butler, all on the road. Their success ran out when they lost to Weddington, at Weddington.
it was worse, travelled the 2 hrs for this supposed great matrchup and after 6 offensive plays from indy it was 14-0 and it didnt get any better,, sat on the home side and it was SAD to see the Tabor band intentionally making a racket with the symbols and stuff at certain points while Indy was on offense all with the intent to disrupt. That crap doesnt happen here. It brought on laughs as it repeatedly didnt work. We left as Indy was making it 35-0 with 2 min left in the 2nd. the symbols werre clamoring and Indy scored on 4th down from the 5. lol...
Saw a great game a couple months ago there with EF and Tabor, not so last night..
We then drove over the 12 minutes to west forsythg and watched the 4th quarter there as they won 10-3 holding on at the end.. was able to just walk right in...
No. They beat Butler 14-7 at Butler.
Kind of surprised you mentioned the defensive team's band playing (or making noise) while a play was being run. There was a time when that was against the rules and the officials would not allow it, but those days are long gone. The defensive band could make all the noise they wanted until the offense lined up, and then they had to stop. Now it's dog eat dog, and most high school kids have no idea about old fashioned sportsmanship. Not so at colleges. Even at fanatical places like Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Texas, and Texas A&M, etc., the bands stop when plays are ready to run. The fans scream and hollar and ring cow bells, but the bands stop.

You are 100% correct. Last year in the playoffs they beat Lake Norman, East Forsyth, Wautauga and Butler, and never got a home game. My bad for forgetting about Wautauga.
Watching the replay on youtube Mt Tabor should have saved all that pregame hype for the game. It got ugly before the game. All the Forsyth teams will be gone either this week or next.
Seems to be another example of Charlotte/Meck Co. area football just being better overall than the Triad. Yes, I realize the seeding system is whacky and Tabor may have been seeded too high and Independence far too low. But this was just a flat out beat down. Seems like Grimsley may be the only team that can play with the Meck. Co. big boys. Even E. Forsyth had a squeaker last Friday.
Wish we could see Grimsley play both Indy and Hough. I know a Hough wants them after how the last few games went and Indy was a young team when they played Grimsley two seasons ago. I really believe they both could get them this year.
