What score do you predict this Saturday against Indiana?

I am going with Kentucky 78 and Indiana 75. Indiana stays irrelevant in basketball and even on a bad year Kentucky beats them.

I still see a team with literally no morale. I expect IU to pull off the upset and the Mark Pope era may end. I’ve never seen players play so tight in my life. Still believe some of the things we think are effort are guys literally experiencing choice paralysis. There is a lot of confusion, uncertainty and fear surrounding this group. Explains why we shoot so well against bad teams and horrid against good teams. We only play well when there’s no pressure. That spells disaster.

Indiana 74
Kentucky 71

Please God, let me be wrong. I’d absolutely love being quoted after a win for being a complete idiot on this.

Both teams live and die with outside shooting and who knows how either team will shoot....and who knows if we show up on defense and rebounding the ball.

I'll stick with a pretty high scoring game and hope for the best version of UK to come to play and kill them horrifically.

I personally am curious if the benching of Garrison produces a positive affect for the team, or a negative one.
Not sure this team shoots well enough to blow anybody out, so I think IU wins a close one.
Really hope I am wrong.

I had more confidence before IU just steam rolled Penn St. by 40 last night. Wilkerson who Pope wanted hit 10 3’s and had 44 points. I guess Penn St. is not good but they were 8-1 going into the game.

Sticking by my plan to not watch this team until Mitch is gone or we look markedly better. Maybe we look the part against IU?

But im not turning down a Saturday showing of Tarantino's Kill Bill v1 and v2 in it's entirety, with additional footage, and sneaking in some nice bourbon on a cold evening at the movies.

You do realize we beat Purdude, right? I mean c'mon. We are able to dismiss everything else with this win.

I hope Aberdeen knows if he can slow wilkerson down, the NBA might sniff him, but it won't be on his three point shooting.
Penetration, find shooters, and play the hell out of defense, and make foul shots Aberdeen. Your capable of it.

I'll admit it. I slow down and look when I come upon a bad wreck on the highway, even knowing that I probably won't like what I see. Similarly, I'll watch this game despite not wanting to witness the outcome I expect.

IU - 75
UK - 60

Won’t watch a second of the game but I think Indiana wins 83-70. Wilkerson goes for 25 points and 5 threes all while showing BBN what we could have had at UK this year if Pope could recruit worth a ****.

I feel this is one of the most must wins in UK Basketball that I can remember.
We lose to IU and I think our season may be too far down the rabbit hole to come back this year.
That is scary.
Never thought I would fear IU again.

Lets see I have done pretty good at predicting this team this year. 6 out of 10 games I have finished in the top 10 with winning 2 of the predictions..... With that said I predict IU by 15 in this one 89-74 this team just doesn't have it when they play a ranked team. I honestly hope I'm wrong but the wheels seem to fall off when a team that has a pulse shows up!

Indiana by 3 pts. It is going to be a close game…because UofK is more athletic than Indiana…but Indiana is better coached, will make you guard them the whole game & plays disciplined defense (shut down Mikel Brown). IU has some clutch 3-point shooters who can close-out a close game.

Hope I'm wrong but IU 83 UK 74. I have not seen any evidence we can beat a P4 team as of yet. If IU is hitting on 3s we are cooked. Hopefully we play a solid game with energy and hustle and knock down some 3s ourselves.

I’m feeling the same way about this team, they play scared to mess up. Now it’s completely different from when Cal was coaching and if you missed a shot you were coming out. I think that UK is to big of a brand and the pressure is too much for most of them, the name, being in the spotlight 24/7 and the way the fans support the team home and away is making them tight.
That is why a lot of players have better careers in the professional leagues over college, the pressure is less than it is at UK. If you can excel at UK, you will have a great chance of doing so in the league. IMO

Isn't it ironic that Wilkerson didn't want to come here because he would "be just another dude"? He would be the best player on this team and it's not close.
