Whats funny is I was a pretty conservative xenophobe when I left WVU during the Iran hostage crisis, it was going to Officer Training School and going overseas during the first gulf war and then Provide Comfort that shaped the liberal you see today. Most special forces guys I ever met were pretty liberal too, knowledge and experience will do that to you.

It's hard to get away from them. I remember John Shibley...I had him for Humanities as a Frosh...he was trying to convince us that animals had "Spirits" and deserved not to be consumed.
He had me going for a while. I came home after my Freshmen year calling myself Vegetarian and my Dad was a Butcher by profession...I was raised on beef! So you can well imagine how dinner at our table went that year (summer of '76). He thought I was doing drugs![winking]
