I believe ulismyman and smooth as butter are the same person.
Their posting style and attention seeking ways (both names love to start dumb threads, but never contribute to threads started by others) are too similarly weird for me to believe there can be two people here like that.

Yep, I remember KentuckyStraightBourbon (a.k.a. AlumniGym, SiestaKeyCat, WildcatTradition and many other handles). His real name was Jonathan (Jon) and he was from Owensboro. As I recall, he maintained "The List" as AlumniGym.
He and I locked horns on MANY occasions on both the UK and UNC boards and I thoroughly enjoyed getting under his skin as "Groin Injury." He was incredibly passionate about the Wildcats and his buttons were easy to hit.
I miss those days!

Jason was a straight-shooter NOB guy who, unwisely, used his real name and pretty much identified where he worked. IIRC he was a physical therapist who used to say funny-but-harmless things about some of his unidentified clients. Someone on here ratted him out to his employer and he lost his job. He quit posting

if it was some poster on this board (or another one) they need a bat upside the head - that's a punk move.
That said, he shouldn't have been letting too much personal stuff out on a forum like this. There are clearly unstable people who post here, a couple of them even admit it.
If you ever listen to KSR and 'Terry' calls.... that is ulismyman...and he comes off the same level of jackass in which he would post here.

It was a punk move, one we've seen in a different situation. The particular poster was identified, to the satisfaction of everyone it seemed, and was hounded off the board. For all I know, both of them now post under different names, or maybe they are truly gone. Not sure what I thought about the fingering of the guy thought responsible. For all I know that may have been accurate and righteous, but when something like that happens, folks are understandably pizzed, and a lynch mob can form. At which point reason is out the door....

Might not count, but even though KU fan Babyinthecorner is hanging tough and even denim vest after the super-duper Dook team tanked it seems we lost JPgame and Duke Blu. What a shame. With the team they have this year I don't think we will have to see them back anytime soon. I think Ku blows them out of the water game 1.
Don’t worry knee burns is still kicking when he’s not out making money on the street, and thotking and blueblood66 who are both puke fans are still here. I can tolerate baby. I actually enjoy his posts because he sits there and takes it and doesn’t get triggered. Similar to denim. Does anyone remember the dude on The Lair that said he was fighting cancer and had all these people praying and pulling for him? I think people even sent him tickets and went to visit him. Finally someone else came online exposing him for a fraud. The dude then came and replied and said he didn't do it all the gifts, he just done it for attention and was really sorry. That was weird.

I would just love to know who Katman2000 was from way back in the day. When I first did these boards my first year at UK that guy was totally over the top....this would have been '99-'00.

I remember Greg Hoover along with posters like TCCAT and others. Not sure if Maggard was from their era or if he came on here later. Either Hoover or TCCAT would always talk about going to Taco Bell late at night (and having blowouts) and always seemed to have "true insider info" when it came to recruiting. Those days were more like the original Saturday Night Live casts than today's just annoying fly by posters. There were others from that era but some names escape me at the moment.
I always pictured TCCAT as a mid-life crisis guy driving a convertible and wearing several gold chains around his open shirt hairy chest. And his source was his Bookie's first cousin with an Italian name.
