I think Jon Scott has a chronology on his site.
I was on ESPN Forums and even IBM had sports Chatrooms in the early mid-ninties,I remember people leaving the ESPN forums to join CatsPause or whatever it was in the late mid-ninties,but it was an all rah-rah place then and I've always been too obtuse to behave much.

Please stop bashing the Paddock circle jerk boys. You only bring them out of their groupie room. Let them rot in their super cool threads of 10, racking up likes making themselves feel superior while posting about their wife swap and diaper change from the morning before.

Jason is the only one worth a damn and honestly I can't figure out why he even post there. The lamest of the lame.
Why are you so angry

So, he got himself bashed and likely banned after hammering UNCheat on their board, just to continue a long con on a board you say he rarely posts on? Very odd theory dude.

I used to read their board quite often. The guy lives in NC and has a lot of friends who are UNCheat fans. He tread very lightly on their board, and had a long history on their board . . ..

It would be useful if you could pick a description of Weasel and just stick to it - one or the other.

I read his posts on the Radar after he came back to Rafters - briefly - with his report of having been banned. There was no "hammering". There was only discussion. The Radar, however, is not a place for open objectivity. It's either their way or none at all. And if you're not aware of that then, like S&C said, reality is a better place to operate.

...the picture of SmokeyPearl was at a get together of UK fans in Fort Wright, KY. This was back when UK played 1 game every year in Cincinnati.

Maybe I didn't word it right, but what I meant was that he did basically post that the evidence was there and in their eyes that's bashing them and worthy of being banned. Whatever, people can believe what they want. I don't think he was faking being a UK fan. If you or anyone else does, that's fine.

Pretty sure Funky died on the set of a gay animal fetish flick when a camera boom landed on his little toe and he bit his tongue off and choked to death in his own blood. It happened right at the scene between him and the bull cape buffalo with him starring as the highly flexible wrangling cowboy romantic interest. He was all set to film "Ben Herd" after that. Poor guy.
You're thinking of Ophiuchus.

You guys are pissing and moaning about message board offenses. Let's talk REAL LIFE offenses against the entire BBN…

Who was the RR poster back in the early 2000's who got in trouble for contacting/interviewing UK football recruits? Had a UK fan website set up. Tried to set up a deal where fans could meet & greet the recruits or something like that. Believe it or not, he even sent out e-mails to other UK boosters asking them to help him recruit HS players. He wound up getting punished by the UK compliance office because he wouldn't stop. Was banned from all UK athletics for 2-3 years.

Did that stop him? NO!!! It was crazy. He was specifically warned and asked by the UK athletics compliance office on several occasions to stop…yet he blatantly put the program at risk by continuing to contact recruits and interview them even after his initial ban. I mean…Sandy Bell said, "stop or you will get the program in trouble". But the idiot didn't stop. So he wound up getting stiffer penalties. UK banned him from all UK athletics for like 30 years or something like that. Can't buy season tickets, can't talk to recruits, players, coaches, etc…for like 30 years. I can't remember the exact details. But i remember there being several articles on the subject…even made it to USA Today if i'm not mistaken. He was quoted in that article too. [laughing] Can't believe someone, booster or not, would blatantly put a UK athletic program at risk like that just to benefit themselves…and still call themselves a fan.

Pretty sure he still pontificates on this site regularly. Might even be one of the guys bashing other posters in this very thread for much, much more minor offenses. Anyone remember his name? Surely one of you jackals has a better memory than I.

Right. And as stated in fairness earlier, his style of posting on the Radar did include a "playing both sides of the fence approach". I made an effort to observe this in the early days of the unc saga when his "mostly similar" effort here teetered to their side just a bit too favorably (from my perspective). He defended them. He was very chummy on the Radar. That's my modest opinion. In many Rafters postings he crafted an argument from the what rules have they actually broken? stance, and as Rafters posters upped the ante Weasel's would become more forceful.

As I also stated previously, the real question is this: if he were actually a UK fan then why would it be the Radar ban (and he did get banned there, he said so here) that would shortly precede why he would disappear from Rafters? That tells me that the Radar (unc) was always more important to him than Rafters and UK. You make a decent argument based on local geography. You've been here a very long time, so I'm going to respect your thoughts on the matter.

Evulbluballs right? Lol and he never had a reason when asked why he did that

He put up some good links though. Never minded that and to my knowledge he never got in any word matches with posters, just kept doing his thing. Smash and PT have taken over in the posting part adequately but Ole EBB was to say the least...random.

Don't know. I left way before RR bought it from Katman or however that went down. I thought it got ugly.

I left after Cal got here. No more reason for it. I did not know about ownership. I tried going back in 2012 after title. I just wanted to read but could not get in.

Anybody remember wakeupky?

I thought I was a pretty big critic of Tubby, but I was an amateur compared to that guy.

He scared me. [winking]

I read this to see if he was mentioned. HIs grammar made me think he never made it out of HS, He was a Pitino lover, claiming he played golf with him. Guy was over the top altho I don't remember him as a Tubby basher, per se. I reserve that for you. Back then I was TLS and just took my current handle when banned by a mod who disagreed with me (rather than taking the 7-day hiatus).
