Injured Big Guys ?

I sit just a few rows up from the bench and I was watching them. Don't know any specifics, but Javin was wearing a boot on his right (I believe) foot. Chase seemed to be moving a little gingerly like a leg or maybe lower back issue.
Hope nothing too serious...they will both be needed down the stretch...Chase has Lance Thomas potential and DeLaurier currently has the capability to be an elite Rebounder / Shot Blocker ...when his Offense catches up he could be something special
Javin's foot is a major concern for me in his development. Not that he would see much time this year anyways, but he is on that Amile path of how he impacts the team going into next year. At 6-10 220 (now), Javin should be able to contribute to the front court rotation next year, however this injury is a big set back. I've heard a stress strain, a stress fracture and a 5th metatarsal injury. Those type injuries could sideline him for the year.
Time for these two to hit the books and take some of the stress off for next year.
Hitting the Books was my initial concern - Guys who get "injuries" at the end / beginning of a semester worry me as that is when grade reports com out to the coaching staff. Hopefully everyone had a successful academic fall semester.
Javin's injury isn't that bad. I believe it's been stated that he's dealing with an ankle injury and with his limited role this season, they have been able to nurse him along.
I'd rather he redshirt this season. He's not going to get significant minutes the rest of the way, even if he were healthy.
I don't think it'll matter. He'll graduate in 4 and go to draft or leave early even if he redshirts.
He's played in 8 games. Essentially if he plays no more games and the NCAA rules his injury as one in which he is incapable of competing, then he could definitely redshirt. I say plays in no more games because he has missed time because of an injury and to play anymore would prove that he was in fact capable.

Just read Chase and Javin both dressed and both warming up.... I know this doesn't mean automatically will be active today but to me it's great news that everyone is starting to get healthy! I just wish Obi could too... I feel for the kid
