Is there any word on the condition of the injured Loyola player who left the field in an ambulance during Saturday's game? If the Comcast GOTW announcers said who it was, I missed it.
He had surgery Saturday and it went well. I believe it was his femur. Scary situation. Both schools handled it with class. Not sure but he was #53. After watching the replay on Loyola's website, you can't really see what happened. Looked like he got pushed in the back and he stayed down.

I have the name written down on a sticky note, but I'm not completely sure it would be appropriate to post it here. I think he's a Junior, mostly special teams this year and is also a good varsity hockey player from what the announcers said.Is there any word on the condition of the injured Loyola player who left the field in an ambulance during Saturday's game? Nobody wants to see any injuries like this on any team and I will pray for his successful and speedy recovery.
Just hate seeing this stuff. At the end of the day, regardless of jersey color, these are kids. Sometimes it’s easy to lose that perspective.
Wishing this young man and the young man from St Charles North all my prayers and best wishes.
we may be from opposing teams but we are all one football family!
