Not mine, just got sent to me, not trying to take credit for it, I don't care at all. It might be from a pay site, I have no idea at all

As of right now, we do not expect Dylan to return to Nebraska next year. We also do not expect Donnie to be on staff next year. It sounds like the relationship between the Raiola's (Dom and Don) and Nebraska is even more sour than we thought when posting that info.

-We already touched on the argument that Dom had with Nebraska staff after the UCLA game. Dom apparently also asked Nebraska for an NIL raise for both Dayton and Dylan at this time, and was told no. Dom is now shopping them both as a package deal to schools. Dylan's NIL deal with Adidas obviously limits this to a handful of schools, but they are trying to find someone to take both.

On Rhule:

-This was kind of a cool nug that we got from a coach, so wanted to pass it along. He said that Rhule actually got an offer from PSU. He went home that night to talk it over with his family and his daughters started crying and said they love Lincoln. He immediately knew this is where he needs to stay.

-This coach also mentioned that they are going to hit the portal aggressively this year and target the schools that are losing their coaches.

He’s stated over and over again that he’s a husband and father first. Once you reach the peak from a pay perspective everything else matters more. His daughters are old enough to understand they have friends so anyone who has moved their family understands this is an absolutely human and normal reaction. Regardless of being a coach - everyone accepts that if you are fired you have to find something - if you are not and have choices it changes everything.

If true on wanting more NIL I hope this builds some street cred from the board for Rhule’s stance on this. At the end of the day if Dylan rolls out - I’m confident we will be better overall with TJ. We have more money to spend on key areas and we get a better Oline coach. Plus if these expectations are true it will be a morale boost for the team as a whole. GBR!

I find it impossible to believe PSU offered Rhule. I'd bet a very large sum of money against that actually.
I don't see why it's so hard to believe. So often these things come down to relationships, and Rhule has/had a very close relationship with their AD. And also seems unlikely that Penn State is going to land a top tier guy with head coaching experience.

Say it outloud...they fire a guy who had them in the playoffs last year for a career .500 coach who's biggest win is Colorado amd gets outcoached in every big game. Not buyin it. You're free too of course, but there ain't no way that happened.

Perspective is a crazy thing. I got in a major auto accident. Met God in the ambulance. I have a very good job, big house and nice vehicles. Never thought about them once when I didn’t know if I’d make it thru the night. Only thought about my wife and 3 boys. Since then I gained a perspective of what truly matters. I lost inner, crippling fear and stopped drinking that night. It was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Felt like sharing that with you all. It’s all true. I had no regrets with my life but I had to see my family again and I did

+++ I shared this in regards to RHule being a family first man. Don’t know if he is, I don’t know him but I get it if he is.

I’m sorry, if Rhule wants to be a bleeding heart family man he chose the wrong profession

his only job is to win. he shouldn’t even have time to see his family from July-after the portal closes in January.
And he probably doesn’t see them much at all during that time frame. All the more reason to take their thoughts into account on whether to stay or leave. If they are happy in Lincoln that’s a positive and helps with the absence of their dad.

I was thinking it could be true until you said Rhule got an offer from PSU. No way they fire Franklin and try to replace him with a guy that’s not been 500 in the B1G (unless they’ve recently hired some people from the university of Nebraska to do their hiring, then hiring Rhule would make perfect sense.).

Even though I think the post is BS, would not shock me at all with Raiola‘s.

Just further evidence that in the last 20 years, our fan base has gone from being the most knowledgeable to the absolute stupidest homers in college football.

I don’t really care about the PSU offer part. I don’t believe it for a second, but it doesn’t really matter. It is a fact that PSU will not be hiring Rhule as their next coach, and Rhule will be the coach at Nebraska for next year and beyond. So let’s move on.

More interesting to me is the NIL squeeze. We all know that happens. The details of Dylan/Dayton and demands after the UCLA game when TJ shined are almost too perfect. I could see this being a planted story so the fans see Dylan leaving as more of Raiola problem than a Rhule/NU problem. I could see it being simply somebody’s fabrication from timeline of events. I could also see it being what actually happened.

Now assuming the Dylan/Dayton/NIL part is true (which it may not be) I wonder if the Raiola’s might be overplaying their hand. Pulling a Nico, so to speak. We have seen that DR has high upside with his arm on short/medium routes, but his overall upside is limited by lack of athleticism. And then he has some things that need to be improved with his game that might be with proper coaching. If he was re-ranked, he would not be a 5 star with what we have seen. Teams like Oregon may feel like he is a bit of a project, and an unathletic one at that. Then throw in the need to take on little bro, and I could see DR not having all the great options he thinks he does.

These are not my thoughts or info. I just got it from another person.

I personally don't think PSU offered either.

He's on the field BS'ing with coaches and teammates during warmups. If he leaves, it will be amicable. I would equate this to putting in your two weeks and working you ### off to maintain your reputation as a good coworker.1000000684.jpg

Does Dylan’s deal with Adidas really limit his transfer options to Adidas schools? I highly doubt it. Dylan has been flirting with Lanning/Oregon on social media, and I can’t imagine him doing that if Oregon was not an option.

It’s possible that every detail in that post is false.

Exactly, and if he doesn’t have an out for such situations, then he needs a different agent. Whole thing sounds like ******** to me.

I doubt there will be any hard feelings from Dylan at all. His words and actions show
That he cares for Nebraska and is happy to be a part of it. But as I’ve said before his talents don’t match up with what is around him in order for him to be really successful here. And that is in part his uncles fault.

“The very thought of leaving Lincoln made my daughter cry.”

“See that [plus another $20 million] made me realize this was our forever home!”
Ha!

Yeah, she cried until he told her that she would NEVER have to work a day in her life and could do anything she wanted.
