Mentioned that I was working on this story in the recruiting thread yesterday, and it's now ready to roll. I'll merge it back in there eventually but wanted to make sure no one missed it initially:

Great article!

2 notes/observations:

1. Sidun's season ended when he broke his hand during a match. He won that match by fall -- yes, pinned a kid while wrestling with 1 hand. He's tough.

2. Coaches from several schools have visited him. His dad has tweeted about 1 visit. Interpret that as we will ... but it's not a bad sign.

Yeah, I read that in a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review article and was impressed as hell. It's a shame he didn't get to hit the freestyle circuit this summer but he'll be ready to go for Super 32 and beyond.

Really nice article, Greg. He sounds like a great kid. If it is of interest to you, there appears to be an editing mistake in this sentence: "Sidun wrestles for his father Dave’s Hutchy Hammers club when he’s not learning and competing for Norwin head coach Kyle Martin, who is also Pennsylvania’s National Freestyle and Greco-Roman team [coach?] and was named the USA Wrestling 16U/Junior Development Coach of the Year in 2025.

There is! Thank you, I'll fix that now. I played with the order of that wording three times to try and get it in a way that best described all he does and then omitted coach on the third iteration of moving parts.
