Trazadone, Hydroxyzine & Melatonin all to sleep. Without sleep medications, my body stays up at least 5 straight days and literally not one second of sleep. I absolutely hate it.
It's not a joke, my sleep and health is so jacked up because of PTSD from multiple deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan. See some of the **** I have and try to get a regular good night of sleep on your own.Elvis is that you?
I'm sure there is an issue if it requires that. Hopefully you get it under control and can transition off the medicine. It's not a joke, my sleep and health is so jacked up because of PTSD from multiple deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan. Thank you and I sure hope to come off these medicines someday soon. I posted in the CPAP users thread here recently about having a Sleep Evaluation done in a lab just 2 weeks ago. Anxiously awaiting the results and hope to get a machine so that I can sleep healthy again. For those on these hard core sleep meds, would love to know if anyone else has ongoing concerns about future health problems it may lead to going forward. Been on these for about 5 years and deal with high blood pressure since it's started. Scared to think of the long term effects it will do internally to the organs. Should not have to be this way. Forgotten what it's like to just lay down on the pillow and instantly doze off. I've heard some wicked stories about Ambien. A fellow Airman of mine in my unit was on that stuff and would have to already be laying in bed prior to taking it.I'm sure there is an issue if it requires that. Thanks for your service.

I saw an interview with a dispensary manager in Colorado several months after legalization. They asked him if anything had been a surprise and he said their sleep capsules were a much bigger success than expected, primarily because of the popularity with older people. No residual effects the next day, no addiction issues, and pretty cheap at $5. If available here, I definitely would try.Honestly the best for me is the herbal remedy. Works about every time. So much so, the older I get I am seriously considering a move to a legal state.
you guys still up? What do you take, if anything? Ambien? Good/bad experiences with it?
I'm in a similar boat. Not because of PTSD but from what i'm told by the doctors my mind won't turn off when I'm trying to go to sleep. Had sleep studies and numerous tests, just cant stop thinking when I lay down. It isn't stress related either, most of times is just random thoughts about things. If its something I need to do I have to put a reminder in my phone or if its random stuff I have to look at wiki and get answers. And I can't stop thinking until I get answers or know I have put something on my to do list.
Took Ambian and Amitriptyline for 8-10 years. 2 years ago they completely stopped working and went 8 straight days with no sleep. Switched to Lunesta and Doxepin mixture, works about half of the time but still have some sleepless nights here and there. I've tried about every medicine available. Honestly the best for me is the herbal remedy. Works about every time. So much so, the older I get I am seriously considering a move to a legal state.
Helps me pass tf outDoxepin
How do you ever get up? I mean, aren't you stuck to the leather?I agree with the above advice that a set routine is very helpful. I wind down with some light reading followed by furious masturbation and sleep all night in my recliner.
