I love watching him play. There are so many teams where he could have played 30 minutes a game but I am glad he plays at Duke. He will certainly leave with an excellent education pursuing his Masters degree in Management

The behind the scenes documentary showed how Jrob is a leader, both by example and vocally. Even Coach acknowledges his presence in the squad is valuable as a leader....his ability and effort seems like it could help energize us at times, especially when we are having a bit of a mental lapse. Hopefully he has shown he can contribute and gets a few more looks in the next run of games.

I really hope his emergence on Tuesday was more than a one time thing when Javin and Vern were in foul trouble. I think he may really add some value for us moving forward if we are having issues with interior defense (certainly provides better offense than Javin as well unless we are playing MSU). Hopefully we just witnessed the start of this year’s Zoubek/Grayson.

Does anyone remember the time when Javin came within one shot of breaking the ACC record for most consecutive field goals made? Seems like a lifetime ago. I’m all for giving Justin more opportunities even if it’s at the expense of Javin.

Wow Bluedave that’s an amazing thought. Could Jrob be that missing link? The simple thought of it has got me jacked up beyond belief!! What if???

He certainly gave us a nice lift Tuesday night when we desperately needed it. We’ll see if he finds himself into the regular rotation.

Jrob obviously bring a few things like shot blocking we are missing but those airball threes goto show you he has never been in these positions and was nervous as hell. This is wishful thinking but that's it
Yea he shot those two air balls but he blocked three scoring opportunities for them. I’ll take that. Every time he gets in the game he blocks a shot

Just to temper my post I am not saying he IS the second coming of Zoubek. I’m just thinking how cool it would be if he was.

This team could really use Marques Bolden. Vernon struggles playing more than 25 mpg, and I'd much rather have Bolden protecting the rim over Javin.

However, I do think J-Rob can help provide support when Vernon is in foul trouble and Javin just doesn't have it. We have been watching Javin for 4 years now, you can tell within the first 2 minutes of Javin being in how his night is gonna go. Does he make a good defensive play and grab a nice offensive rebound/putback?? Or does he fumble an easy pass and commit a terrible foul on the defensive end?

Long story short...I think J-Rob deserves a real shot at a few minutes a game, and even more if Javin is having a "bad-Javin" game.

I've never understood why he hasn't gotten more run over the years. He has a nice three ball and a heck of a shot blocker.
