Travis Trickett
I could see Shane promote Elliott and Elliott go get his old Georgia State OC and offer a "co-OC" position. He's not a bad option, look him up.....

Thoughts?

Bury the hatchet - Jeff Scott? Probably wouldn’t happen but he was good at Clemson. Don’t even know what he’s doing now. What’s Brad up to also?

Offense at FAU in 2015 put up 25 ppg.

21.3 and 24 at GaState in 2017/2018.

27 at USF in 2022.

Elliott at OC would be the worst idea of all time. That would tell me Beamer isn't even trying.
What are these numbers? The only numbers that would point to Elliott would be the 17/18 in Ga State.

Think he was referring to someone else. Travis Tricket?

He then mentioned Elliot at the end.

Numbers are in reference to Trickett's offenses.

Statement about Elliott is a response to the OP's suggestion of Elliott as co-OC.

I will never forget that some fan on this site did not want Josh Heupel hired to replace Muschamp because he physically looked like Brad Scott. SMH
Heupel is 43-17 @UT, currently ranked 14th in the nation.

Shane Beamer is 32-27 SMH
Tennessee's offense is also ranked top 5 nationally in total yards and PPG, and they've had one of the top offenses in the country since Heupel started coaching there.

Where do the "fighting Shulas" check in at?

And as far as a "wish list hire" for OC(that beamer nor anyone else with this program will look at) Jordan Davis at North Texas. Top 5 offense nationally, top 25 in pass offense, top 25 in rush offense, and top 5 in scoring offense. Has had explosive offenses at UNT since he got there in 2023. And he's young(32 years old).

Jordan Davis in intriguing, but he'll have a lot of suitors. The N. Texas head coach is a former OC himself, so it begs the question of "who's really running the offense?"

I have always heard the OC runs what the head coach wants. Beamer may not have a clue as to what to do with an offense.

Wasn't me. I was yelling his name from the mountain top. Man what could have been.

He really doesn’t seem to. Have you heard or read his comments when he talks about prep during the week? Says things like I am involved with some of those meetings… Shouldn’t he be directing them? After LSU there was some curious mention of right before the game all the coaches meet and they tell me what they plan to do with rotation. Why is that knowledge making to him just on gameday?

Maybe I am just piling on at this point. Never thought he should have been hired and he has not done anything to convince he’s growing as a coach.

I get the feeling he is completely in over his head. He doesn't really know what the problem is, so he doesn't really have any idea how to fix it. He relies on the assts to do the actual coaching and strategy development and he is basically a front man and cheerleader. He thinks acting hysterical on the sideline during the game makes him look passionate and engaged when, in reality, it makes him look foolish.
