Not much new info, but a good retrospective on his time here.

He contends Spurrier overreacted to his positive drug test b/c he had failed 2 under Holtz and gotten a pass after some counseling and such. Also says he doesn't believe the test was positive.

I can hear him saying that. I'm sure Newberry would have loved to have him. I don't remember what he did after that

Sad to say but drugs obviously continued to rule his life after football as he served prison time for a drug trafficking conviction years back.

Yeah, it says something that as soon as football was taken away he went to dealing drugs.

Man, I thought we were SET with those 2 guys.
We were. We were a tad more prissy than other programs; if either had played for Auburn or Ole Miss they may be household names. Now the fanbase would make a pact with the devil himself for a top football program.
