How some communities have studied others from various states, followed guidelines, and are resuming while many haven't even attempted. Its sad that many seniors this season won't be able to have sports and likely several communities won't have fall football as well for next school year seniors. Folks have to demand their leaders educate themselves and study the communities getting it right so they can too. Hopefully, juniors will get word of their areas decision ahead of time so they can transfer and have a normal senior for the class of '22. Study, practice, and beware. Best of luck to all participating this spring and hopefully its as successful as other states that played their seasons!

I find it crazy that the Eastern part of the state has half their schools not participating in winter and/or fall sports, while from Staunton on out to SWVA, nearly every school is participating. Surely C19 doesn't stop spreading once it hits the mountains. Lol. Kudos though to the Eastern schools who did research and are allowing their student athletes to participate.

Somebody do some quick research and find out where the 30% of VA school districts that haven't yet opened their doors for hybrid tend to be located......
