Nice crowd and student support for such an awful team.

English on tract to make 16 threes against us. He made 13 in one game. We are sagging off him like we always do the shooters. Need to stay in his uniform wherever he goes.

This game could be in the high 80's. Iona uses about 8 seconds of shot clock.

They've doubled us up on the boards 14-7 but we've got 5 assists to their 2.

I'm guessing you guys didn't get the local HEB commercial with the Spurs on your feed.

For such a great store their ads are so odd. Ginobli was building a chicken retreat. ?!

Once we stopped trying to double the post player and stayed out on English and Foutch (sp?) the outside shots didn't come so easily for them. Birt can keep shooting tonight. He's on. Woodard's shot looks good. There is something about their zone that allows for dribble lent ration into the middle of the lane. Ray, Birt, and Shaq all have hit from the just below the FT line. Wrights 2nd foul was just stupid.

I'm sorry but this team is painful to watch. It is not exciting basketball. Lots of individual play by players that aren't that good.
Woodard needs to shoot all the time. No one sets a pick for him. Half the time he stands in the corner while Shaquille just prepares for another dribble drive and prayer shot. Date is the biggest waste of 6'9" that I have ever seen.
You would think as seniors these at least a couple of these guys would have improved. But we have to live and die one more year hoping that Shaquille gets hot or James goes off.
Haith's coaching reminds me too much of Woj coaching. If we don't coach, recruit, and play better next year I may sit at home with the other 4,000 fans that no longer attend this mess.
And yes I realize we are up 12.

Fun fact: I set up a firewall to block any website with the name "game" in it because my son is a devious little crap that has a way of getting around computer filters (or, for that matter, booting his MAC to Linux and corrupting the Admin user account so he can spoof a new Admin and transfer rights to him so he can delete web filter software and install a proxy server such that he can play as many video games as he wants)...

what does this have to do with you?

I couldn't get to the game thread because it is a URL with the word "game" in it. BLAST!

Winning is fun. FAST basketball utilizing our athleticism and size on defense and offense. We are lose and having fun. We are NOT relying on outside shooting or setting up an "offense."

For those with a better basketball head than mine - is there a reason we wouldn't have been able to do this to ORU?
