A part of me wants to agree with you. But the defense literally didn’t give up a touchdown to Iowa State. Our offense just handed them their only touchdown. With Indiana our offense again handed them their only touchdown until the last minute of the game. Against UMass our special teams gave them their only touchdown.
We had one rough half against Rutgers. The defense while not 2022 or 2023 good, is still pretty damn good. And the offense is the best we’ve had since 2020, it just doesn’t have a playmaker like Kaleb Johnson to bail us out of games like Nebraska last year.
