Refs had it out for the Brands the last 5ish years and it’s cost our wrestlers dozens of times
You get 2 seconds of “reaction time” when you’re taken down, but zero chance to get back to the mat after an escape. Worst part of it all…that was Ryder’s first shot the entire match.

What a joke. So the first duel Caliendo rolls through a takedown and they call a 3 and 2 with Lockett. And now Gabe does even more for his takedown and they take it away and somehow despite Ryder doing nothing to all match, give Gabe two stalllings. Embarassing for the sport.
I really don't know how that wasn't a takedown for Arnold. Having these refs review their own calls just doesn't work.

The sad reality here is that Iowa should probably still have 2 or 3 more stalls against us compared to what the ref has called overall

If it goes against Iowa, that's the official call. Whichever way benefits the opponent. If Gabe rolls through and takes down the tOSU guy, no reaction time and Gabe loses. When the opposite happens against Okie State, Gabe doesn't get the call and Gabe loses. Seems simple enough.
It didn't matter after 3 weights. Dual was over. Brands are over. We need to start fixing the program the day after nationals, if not sooner
