All I can say as a Hawk fan is this. Our program should never lose a talent like dreshaun ross to anyone out of state. We talk about Bo basset. Jesus our resources should have thrown the house at that kid. What a specimen. David Taylor is getting a kid with so much skill that can’t be taught and I feel that’s what Iowa needs right now more than anything. I like our coaches as people. Been extremely loyal to Iowa. However it’s time to move on. Time for new blood. Tom and terry need to ride off into the sunset and Morningstar needs to concentrate on showpigs. Telford I don’t know what he does or is good at. I’m fully ready to make a change before we are the bottom of the first 10 in the polls.
I heard from a reliable source the Ross got 2 million from OSU. He didn’t clarify if it was per year or over 4 seasons but that’s not insignificant for a wrestler.

Lack of shots, even when losing in the final period. I just don't understand. Sigh.
I'm admittedly not a wrestling guy but my time as an Iowa fan has shown me that no team does less (not even with more talent) than Iowa. Every returning wrestler gets more and more complacent/defensive the longer they are in the program. The best lineup possible seems to be a completely new group that hasn't been ingrained with the "sit back for 7 minutes" mentality.
This is going to be a real fun afternoon
Ayala, our returning 2 time finalist, is about to get boat raced by a kid that should still be in high school.
I know Jax is incredible but getting riden out as a 5th year by a kid that was in Hs 2 months ago is not ideal
