Iowa wins by 2, but whatta game. One more example of what conference play will look like this season. Looked like the tournament.

Yep. Year in and year out (though this year in particular), nothing beats Big Ten basketball.

Fun game. Ron Harper Jr. was unconscious from 3. He's really developed into a baller.

Enjoyable game to watch, marred only by the incessantly mind numbing verbiage of Dan Dakich. It’s fun to hear Jason Benetti counter some his more ridiculous comments. I get the feeling that Jason tires of his constant chatter, too.

I miss Shon Morris.

Game was tight as piano wire. NU already knows how good Iowa is, and this game showed Rutgers is as good.

Young turned in a game, too.

The game was the big fun because two top-14 teams fought each other to the END! It could have gone either way until the final seconds. Where sports and sports junkies live.

This is the level of play you better bring to play in the conference, let alone against mf undefeated UM, but if NU can keep it close and play their best in the final seconds, it could be history! ;)

Rutgers looked a lot more like last year’s team in this one than against Purdue. Against the Boilers it appeared to me their swarming defense was not there.

Morris was a good one. I guess I'm in the minority as I don't mind Dakich. He's a motormouth, but he's not afraid to be controversial and he knows the game.

The not being afraid of being controversial is the sole reason I like him.

I understand how they all need to be on good terms with the coaches. They do their calls before games, need to have info on what’s going on with the teams , etc. but it turns into such a love fest where every coach is doing a phenomenal job.

To me it felt refreshing yesterday to hear him say Hoiberg has benefited greatly from landing good jobs. Agree or not, that’s not the point. The point is that he’s the only one out there being critical.

I’ll put up with the annoyance just to hear some attempt at critical analysis.
