The recruited athletes were sent images of their commitment to ISU to be posted on social media but none of the coaches knew about it? Sounds like Dresser threw Perry under the bus here.
Perry is such an impressively shtty human.
100% Dresser was aware. Just no way to prove it.

So, I suppose and hope Perry will be held responsible and not speak to highschool recruits and college students. But that take is as comical as the staff throwing Perry under the bus and ‘not knowing’ he was recruiting on his own accord

It was more than that. It was also the reason Dresser went to a different position to try and head the coming NCAA penalties off at the pass. Sounds like Perry was their "Skunkworks" guy.
The findings called Perry the "booster" - so he effectively has a 2 year ban from Iowa State.
Someone on here kept speculating that Justus Heeg was training a lot with Perry and he was a heavy ISU lean. Does this mean ISU’s chances to land him have lessened

I remember when ISU hired a new assistant and was trying to poach guys from the school said assistant just graduated from. Weird how that got stopped dead in its tracks. Probably has nothing to do with it happening in the midst of this investigation.

Vinny Zerban (157 lbs) – Another major All-American transfer who also arrived from Northern Colorado.
Rocky Elam (197 lbs) – A multi-time All-American who transferred in from Missouri.
Isaac Dean (184 lbs) – A national qualifier who transferred from Rider.

Though not on topic, I can't help myself.
This group came in with a collective 6 AA finishes between them, 4 by Elam alone.
None of them made the podium in their 1 season at ISU. They combined to go 4-8 at the NCAA tournament.
They beat Iowa in the dual (kudos to them for that; huge monkey off their back to break the streak), but they finished 40 points behind Iowa at NCAAs.

I really do feel for Elam though.
Got hurt in the last seconds of the Big 12 finals. That's some pretty horrible luck.

I will go to my grave believing Dresser knew what he was buying when he brought Perry to ISU.
You are giving him too much credit by calling him human. I am serious when I say he should be banned by the NCAA. He destroys kids for his own gain.
The fact that blatant rules violations were committed and it yielded such mediocre results is certainly worth commenting on. Some programs subscribe to winning at all costs. The clones subscribe to “8th place or bust”. It would seem that most things the Clones touch turn to

That's what people are missing Perry was labeled a booster because that's how the NCAA can punish him . Hes not on "staff" so they couldn't punish him that way so they said he was a booster. Iowa st thought by having his title not be on staff he could call rostered athletes. The fact that he was at every practice, traveling with the team and recruiting and sitting behind the bench and telling the staff when to throw the brick he's basically a coach. I don't think the NCAA is after boosters like Bob, Ira or Richison . Theyre not at every practice and running the room and coaching guys from the front row while sitting with the team. When someone does all the coach duties just because his position title isn't on staff that doesn't mean he's not a coach
Always thought that was weird at first I just assumed he was on the staff
