Anyone know if the Iowa women's postseason lineup has been announced? Will Nyla Valencia be competing in the postseason? I know she was injured at the For Her Duals.

Last year they announced on the Wednesday before the Saturday regional. This year it starts on a Friday, so maybe it'll be today.
No announcement yet - but as @HawkAlum2002 noted, I’d expect the information to be released sometime in the next day or two.
As for Valencia, I’ve yet to hear anything definitive regarding her postseason status or the exact nature of her injury.
If you’re looking to be hopeful, I did find it curious that she was listed in the coaches rankings released last week (post-For Her Duals). IF each coach has to submit which athletes from their respective team are eligible to be ranked - this could lend credence to Valencia being available.
But I’m not 100% if that’s the exact protocol.
Regardless, we should all know soon enough.

A little surprised Skye Realin didn't get the 138 spot after the season she has had. Anyone know if she is injured?
She got pinned in the grand view open and then the next day, after her For Her duals match, she was crying and holding her head, if I remember correctly.
The grand view duals is one of the maybe 1 or 2 iowa women’s wrestling events I havent watched in the 3 years they’ve been around as it was on rokfin and didn’t want to pay for that and Flo like I did last year. I’m wondering if something happened at the grand view duals because it didn’t look like she hit her head that next day.
That’s a potential #1 seed we just lost and a lot of points we couldn’t afford to cede to mckendree.

Sucks losing a potential finalist/champ. Luft's a solid replacement, though. Can see her placing as a mid AA.
Iowa should breeze through their regional. I see 8 or 9 top seeds, with no one below 3rd. McKendree's regional is loaded, multiple weights have 3-4 ranked wrestlers. Would help even out losing Realin's points if they didn't qualify all 10 weights.
With the ncaa sanctioning the sport they cut it down to 1 wrestler per school
Disappointed for Realin, two years in a row now she hasn't been able to participate in the post season. Maybe she'll get an extra year if she wants one since last year's ended in the first semester. She went through Senior day but Foeller did that last year and still ended up getting a year.
They'll have to wrestle very well at Nationals to win, but Brianna can certainly do better than her seed and make up some of those points and Osteen can win the whole thing the way she is going.

I got set up yesterday for the Regional, B1Gs, and Men's NCAA. I had planned on going to Regional, but with it being two days, I can't leave my dogs and other responsibilities right now. I have tickets to Women's NCAA (came yesterday), but will be watching all the mats and matches I want for the other events on this. Just have some room decorating for when guests come to some of those events.
