They aren't always good. Every 5 years or so they put out a good team. Before this season, their win totals for the last 5 seasons: 8, 7, 4, 8, 7 with a 1-3 bowl record.

Our fans call that mediocrity.

They are a solid, respectable program, but nothing great.
