This team isn’t given me great feelings about playing a SEC team in a Florida bowl game. I attended the Outbowl fiasco two years ago and won’t do that again anytime soon. Foster Farms / Holiday bowl, please!

Just because then NU would be pushed down the bowl ladder because OSU and Pen St. would no longer be in the 4 team playoff. If you can't see that, I'm sorry.

For bowl positioning, it doesn't matter to us whether those teams go to the playoffs or to the "access bowls". (Fiesta, Peach, Orange, and Cotton this year.) The important thing is that they're out of the BIG contract bowl lineup.
I'm not sure we should be very worried about bowl positioning anyway. If we end up 9-3, we're possibly the weakest 9-3 team in FBS, and we will get "bid up" anyway because we're BIG. Outback Bowl part deux, anyone?
