So, Ken Starr is probably going to be fired as president at Baylor.

Why? For not taking allegations of sexual assault seriously and investigating them.

The man who investigated Bill Clinton for that very thing, is now likely to lose his job for not doing it at Baylor.

They investigated it at Baylor but they covered it up.

That's true ... doesn't make the irony any less glaring though.

Art Briles was just as guilty as anybody else, but it appears he is going to escape unscathed.

(Legal disclaimer: proclamations of guilt are based on published information so far, which may or may not be accurate)

Not to take up for him concern Baylor problems, but Ken Starr said he didn't like being a special prosecutor or thought it was needed. Of course, you guys on the left always leaves out the real crux of the problem. Bill lied in a deposition concerning a sex assault civil suit. He did and was impeached for lying. Bill was the real problem. Starr was just doing his job, one he didn't like, According to him.

You just went off the rails. I didn't comment on whether Ken Starr liked it or thought it was needed, nor did I make any comment on Clinton's guilt or innocence or who or what the problem was.

Only that Starr got into the public eye for prosecuting sexual assault against the former president, and now is being fired for ignoring (or sweeping it under the rug) where he's at.

Since you said "you guys on the left", then I will point out that "you guys on the right" can't stay on any topic without circling it back to the corruption, deceitfulness, criminal activity of the Clintons. I can't stand either one of them, but nobody can say anything about anybody else without you guys bringing something back to them. As if they being what they are somehow precludes anybody else from being similar.

He had a hard on for Clinton. An investigation into a land deal (which has since shown to be legit) morphed into an investigation of Hillary's billing records in a private practice law firm, an investigation of the White House's travel office, and an investigation of a suicide of a Clinton friend. When none of that bore fruit, he shifted to Bill's skirt chasing. Starr is a piece of **** and usually, people end up getting what they deserve.

It was assault by the president not against him. Didn't mean to start a **** storm over that. People always says his impeachment was about sex. His imp[eachment was for lying to a grand jury. Two different things.

OK, semantics. The sexual assault charge was against Clinton ... not a sexual assault was committed against him.

Whether the impeachment was necessary and what the impeachment was about is irrelevant WRT the irony of Ken Starr now getting fired for not investigating or sweeping charges under the rug.

Or that he served at the behest of Janet Reno.
