Nobody really knows what happened yet. He got beaten up a bit, then checked out. No real details yet. No sense in playing him any further till the big tournament. Maybe not even the first round.

Pretty sure he injured it on that lil reverse lay up he had. He banged into the defender before the lay up move

Give him every damn torodol and cortisone shot in Lexington and put it in that shoulder
I said the other day that teams were going to try and take him out going forward. He basically can't handle getting hit on that side.
He drove like Marshawn Lynch on the play he got hurt. He initiated contact right into his own shoulder.
He’ll play in the tourney until he gets hurt again. He won’t play in the sec tournament anymore
Goose said he spoke to Butler briefly and all he would said is it’s better than what he thought it would be and it’s a little different injury than previous. Take it for what it’s worth
Needs to be kept under wraps if Butler is done until about 9pm on Sunday. Hate to say that but it would absolutely have the potential to knock us a seed line

Ehh I think they probabaly already have the bracket made for the most part and just gotta shuffle a couple teams here and there based on little things

I don't believe in punishing a team for a late season injury. Their record is what it is. If they earned a high season and lose their best player, so be it.
I noticed Butler covering his mouth when he was telling his team mates on the bench what was going on. So I imagine he didn't want opponents reading his lips to reveal what he actually hurt.
But, he didn't seem to be in pain at all when the cameras showed him. Hopefully that's a good sign!!
I thought it was when he was dribbling side to side thru the paint and the guy grabbed his arm stopping his momentum instantly.

Yeah hopefully he was just telling teammates that the team pulled him from rest of the SECT as a precautionary measure (something I’d be 100% in agreement with).

Yeah in no scenario should he play any the rest of this week. Tomorrow and any game if they win is just extra at this point.
Keep this between you and me but all the SECT wins are gravy anyway. Getting out of this thing healthy is the most important thing. Can’t see us likely moving off the 3 seed line win or loss
