Is Duke ever going to play an away game?

Didn't some Ky fan start a thread just like this a month or so ago?? Is NY and Chicago not "away". The ACC/Big whatever challenge is away every other year, just so happened this year is was in Durham. Duke played "away" at Whisky last year as best I remember. In all fairness, I would like to see a home and away series with Ky or Kan. every year. Or, any big name school for that matter. I would like to see it a little further into the season than the KY game was this year. Not saying Duke would beat Ky now, but it would be a helluva a lot closer.

TACT is the ability to tell someone to GO TO HELL in such a way that they LOOK FORWARD TO THE TRIP! Enjoy your trip back to where you came from!
Go Duke!!

"Make them look forward to the trip" I have never heard this expression but it so funny.

You know guys maybe we should just not reply to anymore of the OP's post. He's just wanting to irritate us now. It's his thread and let him get the last post and this thread will just slip thread by thread until it just goes away. He's not worth the effort and post by us. OFC

Speaking of Northern Iowa, glad it was referenced earlier as a Royism for Paige. Andy Katz fell all over his self on ESPN recently, saying Roy had a lot of guts to schedule a tough opponent on the road in NI. Sure they are a fine team, but cmon Andy it was purely for Paige...

Played Wisconsin last year in Madison. What is your point?

Didn't ya know? That game ( and others in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge ) don't count as "true" road games. It takes place yearly and Duke has no control over the match-ups and/or the venues. Therefore , any game played in it cannot , by rule , be considered a "true" road game. Look it up. It's written down somewhere. lol

I see. So, a road ACC/Big 10 game is a "false" road game. Got it. Thanks OP.

i wish we would see some more road venues in the OOC, but I get the formula of still meeting top teams in neutral/big arena sites....to this point regardless, we have played UK,Indiana,VCU,and Georgetown already and only one has been at home....Duke still plays top talented programs

Bottom line....it gives certain people a little more to whine about. I say let them whine.

Very few (no) elite programs are signing up to play in Cameron. It's not happening. Georgetown was our last really home and home, unsure about why that got cancelled. Otherwise who cares. We play plenty league road games and win them at a high clip. Troll on OP!

Seems like our rivals would be fine with it since they think it's the reason why we "flame" out sooo earlier *whatever*....seems they would cheer our philosophy on since it gets us so ill prepared for March

Yea we certainly weren't prepared last year. Maybe we would play better in the dance if we played more road games.....

I'll have to admit I'm pretty good with us not playing some teams in their home gym. Ask UNC how they truthfully feel about playing at NI and Texas. They'll probably say it makes them a better team but I'll say BS to that.

My favorite theory is that K is afraid to go and play on the road. That's the best they can come up, and it's the only answer they accept.

Whatever they can do to try and convince themselves that he isn't the greatest that has ever done it, and that he's not as great as the accolades and praise he gets. Par for the course.

Sometimes and maybe a little too much I refer to UNC nation as feeling they are entitled. Perhaps they are just insecure. OFC

Why go play a non-conf road game where opposing team fans are foaming at the mouth for us? We get enough of that in ACC.

Still recall being at Temple game in Philly when JJ broke ACC scoring record. The Temple fans were out for blood & John Chaney told his fans to knock it off. Worst environment I ever saw & I've been to Duke @ UNC games.
