Is Evan Williams good bourbon?

I don't think it's even in my Top 10. Try Blanton's, Eagle Rare, Woodford Reserve, and Maker's 46 first.
I haven't conversed with Evan lately. But I'd like to try a shot of villanova creighton...It sounds like an interesting drink.
Is it better than Jim Beam? I’m usually more of a Moscow Mule guy. Maybe I mix it with some ginger ale see what happens.

It's comparable to Beam 80 proof, I suppose. Maybe a bit better? It's been a good while.
I prefer at least 90 proof nowadays, it just seems less harsh on my body to have the higher alcohol content.

Make a Kentucky mule. Just use all the same things but replace the vodka with bourbon. I like Beam better, personally.
Nearly my thinking with 100 proof spiced rum. I get where I want with less volume...
Top 10 is asking a lot of that inexpensive of a bourbon. He should try any number of other ones but this bird is already in hand.
I'm guessing he has a bottle of the old charcoal filtered 80-86 proof seems like it runs.
Go at it Morrockgutsky.... The worst high I ever had was at Fort Huachuca. I downed about two and a half pints of MD hot and snorted about a half thimble full of bruton snuff. Best legal high you will get. It will blow the top of your head off. I did that about an hour and a half before a GI party....got away with it too. (My buddy's helped me.) I was almost 21 then.....

You "ain't" never lied. A couple guys I've known get mean when drinking whiskey. Sober is when I'm the hardest to deal with. Drinking I'm a mellow fellow...
I drink Knob and just chill out. All is good in the world and everyone is my bud. Unless, somebody tries to get frisky then things can change. Lol.
Go to the Evan Williams Experience in downtown Louisville, Heaven Hill in Bardstown or a great bar and sample them. The Speakeasy tour in Louisville sampled 3 EW bourbons and Pikesville rye for $17 when I was there. I bought the rye for $55. It was too good to pass up and not yet available everywhere back then.
Seventeen dollars will get me all kinds of drunk. Fifty-five will ensure I don't hurt so bad afterward....
