Ha ha ha. Well I've got to admit something here. I couldn't stand the guy until I saw the movie "Bernie" where he plays a blow-hard Texas DA in a murder case. I think of that great (and funny) movie when I see him and I don't hate the man anymore.

(BTW - It may be a funny movie only to people who put up with Texans every day.)

I liked him in True Detective.

Make you hate Texas even more and want to punch someone in the face?

Eh, pretty indifferent about that guy. I suppose he's got something going on, did he win an Oscar?

All I know is he definitely hitch his wagon to the wrong star with the Horns.
He didn't choose wisely.

I thought he did a good job playing the agent in Tropic Thunder..... but Cruise played his character to the T.

I like MM and think he's a pretty decent actor. Yeah, he's made some real stinkers (Sahara, Failure to Launch), but he's also made some very good movies and played some very intertesting characters (Mud, Lincoln Lawyer, Dallas Buyers Cub).

But, to the OP's original questions, yeah I do kind of want to punch him in the face for those Lincoln commercials and for being such a longhorn suck up.

He was great in Bernie, and I hate the guy with a passion. He also wasn't bad in Tropic Thunder, I forgot he was the agent because Tom Cruise stole the movie...

I dislike (hate) the Lincoln commercials with James Franco even more than McConaugheys commercial. I'm just happy he's wearing a shirt.

He did a fine, smarmy, coke fueled stock broker in a short part he had in Wolf of Wall Street.

Almost forgot about that one.

He played in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Next Generation as Vilmer and was a baseball player in the movie Angels in the Outfield as well. He would also play in Contact, Two for the money, Clive Cussler's Sahara, Ghosts of Girlfriends past, A Time to Kill, and many others.

MM's Oscar Winning Performance in Dallas Buyer's Club was the turning point for me. From my intense dislike of all things 'horns', to an admission that the guy did put us on a show, was about a 90o angle, dragging my feet all of the way...

I liked him in the movie when he defended Samuel Jackson. Not much else.

That Texas chainsaw movie was horrible. I actually got embarrassed for him watching it. That said his commercials are on every 2 seconds..gets old. He did kill it on true detective.

On a side note its hilarious WVU and OU fans are having a serious discussion on him the day before kickoff

Every once in a while, you meet a guy that seems like nothing special, wannabe cool guy, and then discover that women are just willing to forget all restraint, to allow him, uh, access. And you just cannot see it. I have never met MM, but he is like that. A bunch of women find him uber attractive, and I just do not understand. But I think it is why he gets the car commercials.

I don't get the love for Flexeril.
I had that once and it didn't do anything for me unless I took a Lemon 714 Quallude with it.

But that's just me...
Haha I'm just continuing the joke. I've got a fast metabolism and never got into pills. But when I've needed them they never work.

Oh, I know.

Did you ever notice pill heads are the first to say to ya..."Well, you're clearly an alcoholic and should go to rehab, immediately!"

Stop the insanity. ;)

Usually they are the first to say "can I borrow $20?" Or steal something. And boy do I hate thieves. Got my apartment looted in Louisiana when we left one time. Still makes me grit my teeth

I had to draw down on two guys that kicked my door in while at home.
They ran off of course, because they were pussies.

Funny, the cops were kind of pissy with me that I didn't drop them. They said something like..."We'll have to deal with them later."
It was uh, kind of heavy.

I'll never forget the sick feeling of walking in and seeing my whole place ransacked. And the amount of stuff that was stolen they made several trips so I knew they were in walking distance. Cops wouldn't even take fingerprints of the window they came thru or even take a pic of the perfect muddy shoe print on my rug. The flashlight they used was still on in the living room and they didn't take prints.
Makes me sick cuz a few weeks later I was dead broke and found a woman's wallet with a months worth of cash in it and I returned it to her. Hate thieves
