Is it time to end our relationship with China?

The implication that Nixon's relationship with China and Clinton's selling us out to China are the same is intellectually dishonest.

But hey... that's what the left is... so you be you lefties.
Oh, 35 years of crap was all done in a one administration span of time. Thanks for intellectually honestizing me.

At this point, going forward bring as much manufacturing back to the U.S. as possible to create jobs and build the economy back up. I know their slave labor and unregulated industry is cheaper, although I think it's about time to force the issue on american business. Also, if we are paying debt, or deferring debt, I think China holds around a trillion dollars? I say they fall to the bottom of the totem pole. I'm not as well versed on international economics side, so I don't know if the second point is feasible. I remember talking with my financial guy about 5 years ago, about how much they screw everyone. At this point, I'm done with China and anything associated with them, not that I really liked them to begin with.

And even if we could, the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to afford it or would have to significantly limit the quantity of their purchasing - which frankly that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. But clothing and shoes would get very expensive compared to what we are used to. I like wearing just plain colored t-shirts you can get for a few bucks at Walmart because they are comfortable, practical, and cheap. Things would probably skyrocket up to like $15-20+ if made in the USA. Poor and the middle class already struggle enough as it is. I have zero faith in business owners raising their wages to account for the increase in the cost of goods given how so many refuse to pay a living wage even now. At least with the small businesses it is understandable, but if you really can't afford to pay more than $10 an hour with little to no benefits, how sustainable of a business do you really have? For the big corporations where CEOs and other executives are making multiple millions a year and the owner is raking in billions every year while being cheap on wages for their working class employees, only thing that's going to make them do anything different is the law forcing them to, and well we've seen how that has gone when places have tried to raise the minimum wage...
Two things some don't seem to understand despite how much it is repeated...
1. Corporations do not and never will pay taxes.
2. Corporations do not and never will pay for raises they give their employees.
They are both business expenses that are passed along to consumers in th way of higher prices . Just the way it is. Period.

I wish we could bring it all back, but them controlling our vital pharmaceutical supplies and military stuff HAS GOT TO STOP! They even make a large portion of our BIBLES ! How messed up is that!!

Right now China is reportedly manufacturing 200 million masks a day and are retooling the electronic
plants, including the one who makes iPhones to build respirators.

Now is not the time.

And this, folks, is how to post on the internet not just once, but two times, successfully, like an idiot.

Don't have to end relationships. But you people have to stop electing their agents to sabotage our country's defense.
