To change everything up and have each school sell streaming tickets for their games from redesigned no seat made for tv stadiums? No end the number of eyeballs you could sell on each schools individual channel. Sell sponsorships for more income and say goodbye to ESPN.

I would be happy to say goodbye to ESPN but you still need someone for the production. I dont see individual schools doing that. It is a major cost.

Not necessarily. One of my subsidiaries was an independent production unit that did sporting events at a small fraction of the network. We're talking three camera shoots.

I will take your word for it. I know nothing about that business.

Who will be in charge of hiring the bimbos on the sideline who ask the coaches what adjustments he will make during halftime?

I volunteer, if there is no one else more qualified.

So you would need someone to produce and then someone to create and maintain the app to stream the games...and market to the audience.

Seems like something that would be easier to do per conference, rather than individual schools.

As long as they don't allow Beth Mowins to do play by play commentary, I don't give a **** how the games are telecast.

Been calling for this for years.

This virus may be the silver lining to speed this along.

Think Sirius radio except for television. Every event pay-per-view or do a one-time year long deal (like season tickets for your television). Make it the cost of the cheapest seat in the house and Milan Puskar can now hold 250K instead of 60K.

The front end will be cost prohibitive but like everything else will pay for itself in the end. WVU has its own channel, owns all the rights, produces its own content. No more ESPN or IMG unless that's the route you want to go or they pay to put it on their channel. Can watch on either - no exclusions.

Sports that nobody watches , i.e. rifle, soccer, gymnastics, swimming, now get televised and could possibly bring in better athletes. Just thinking here. I'm sure there are drawbacks. I just don't want to list them.

Every school does the same. Could even have a NCAA Season Pass like the NFL and MLB have. The possibilities are endless

But isn't Rootcanal one to complain about ESPN+

If ESPN+ doesn't bring in the viewers you cannot go on your own and stream games to a larger audience

Regarding going on your own and saying screw big media.
PAC 12 has that issue. They own their channel and this has caused big media to try to undermine them.
At first it didn't make a difference but the last 2-3 years I have noticed it
Their football actually is horrible. Isn't just what the media says
