Is that English? Are you saying poors should be exempted from gas tax, cell phone tax, SS tax and medi tax?

In what sense?
It seems that since SS payouts are derived from tax initially, you only bleed off money through administrative costs (granted it's probably minimal) kind of like electricity is bled off power lines in the transference of energy from point A to point B. I'm probably missing something really simple.

.
Are taxes (in general) to high for all involved? At what point are we all being taxed to much?
It's a fair question and I don't think I can give a full answer in a silly little space such as this, but I doubt people making minimum wage are being taxed too much.

I'm a peddler, and about the farthest thing from a tax expert as there is.....and beyond that, I'm incapable of even basic math. But it seems to me, simply by taking the standard deduction, minimum wage earners are probably paying one of the lowest effective tax rates there is.

Again, go beyond just the income tax and take a look at all the taxes/fees we as Americans pay.

Gas tax funds our roads and bridges. You only pay if use roads and brides
Wireless excise tax goes to building telecom infrastructure for rural communities, schools, etc. You only pay if you use telecom infrastructure
SS Tax and Medi Tax goes (in theory) to our own future retirement benefits.

Not sure what other taxes you are referring to, but I think these four are probably the most prevalent and seem pretty reasonable. **** ain't free and I'd even argue we need a big time jump in the gas tax.

**** ain't free but a MF'er doesn't have unlimited funds either. When do/did we cross that line between working to grow our own wealth and working to support some gov't program?

I'd say there are probably some economists out there that would know far better than us.

I honestly can't stand the ungodly amount of use taxes we pay. From wireless fees, 911 fees, extra gasoline taxes, hotel taxes, and the worst in Virginia is the personal property taxes on cars, boats, and RVs. I paid sales tax when I bought my boat and car. Annually I have to pay personal property taxes on both which will total $1200 or so this year. That crap should be unconstitutional. My 2016 boat tax bill was $700 on $15,000 boat....every year. WTF.

But if you are really wealthy and own expensive jewelry, fur coats, expensive golf clubs, and a $50,000 gun collection, you don't get taxed on any of that!

Well now you're getting in to state and local taxes.
