Well the coach sounded in great spirits and said to give you his regards. I asked him if Lindsey would play, but he just would not give me a straight answer. I told him that Coach Fitz always gives us the inside information on player injuries and that it is very important for the messageboard people to you know what is going on. It did not do any good, and he implied that he only tells his secrets to LouV.
I did not even think to ask. If I speak to Fitz, I will ask him.you might want to inquire on the football board.
I also saw the comment on Friday, but I do not remember where. How do you like your toast? I prefer whole wheat.
Cat's are down to +9&1/2. Stick close to your phone and have your bookie on speed dial. If Lindsey starts take the points and head to the bank.
Before opening this thread, I made waffles this morning for breakfast. Since I avoided scrambled eggs or deep fried pancakes, hopefully I avoided the Smithee Jinx phenom. Oh, for catcrazy they were the super healthy ones. The Flapjack and Waffle Mix box reads, "Kodiak Cakes 100% whole grans," "Protein Packed Buttermilk Flapjack and Waffle Mix" with added labeling "Whole Grains Taste Better, non=gmo, no preservatives." Ouch, nothing about gluten free.
(I would post a photo of the box but my Photobucket site is refusing to "copy" - so just imagine the pictured face of an open jawed Kodiak Grizzly Bear peering out from the box as he is circled by sheafs of wheat with huge lettering just below his snout reading "POWER CAKES.")

I know you were joking, but I do find it interesting that this game, unlike the previous two is nearly hear without an official team announcement that he will not play. I suspect that the reason is that he may have been medically cleared, but Collins has decided to rest him one more game, which would be wise, imo, given all the winnable games on the horizon. Or I could be spewing nonsensical speculation. Either way, go Cats!
Listen to the Collins interview from last Friday. He explicitly said Scottie was out for Wisconsin, but hoped he would be medically cleared "sooner rather than later". He said Scottie's status was in the hands of the medical staff, and he could not play until they cleared him. So I think Collins has been pretty forthcoming about him.
Agreed, but still strange that there is no official team announcement, imo, since there was one for the last two games.
