He's been cut out of the rotation. I'm not sure what that means for him after the season, but honestly he could not do much worse than some of our other guys today. Plus, we know he can finish at the basket against Horford.

this has been a theme with Lee the past few games. He plays at the first "platoon" substitution. As soon as he makes a mistake he is out. And he's unlikely to come back in (has a few times). It's Cal getting it down to an 8-man rotation.

His first time in the game, he got lost on out-of-bounds 'D' and Murphy scored on him. Hasn't been in since.

Everyone has gotten lost at least once on defense but he has a SHORT leash on Lee for some reason. Maybe Cal isn't a fan of his game. You never know what goes on behind close doors (practice).

Lol. Cal just praised him yesterday about him going and spending time with kids in the hospital. He is not on a short leash cal is just shortening the rotation. Lee will be fine and we will need him in the tourney

He essentially has 2 minutes to show Cal what he's got. If he doesn't show much & the game is under double digits, he'll remain on the bench.

Lyles is getting more minutes at the 4 now, so he's part of the big man rotation. Lee isn't good enough to take minutes away from WCS, KAT, Dakari and Lyles.

Cal has made it clear he prefers a 6-8 man rotation. Something has to give. Doesn't mean Lee's chances won't come, and I think he'll answer when they do.

The Way WCS played today Mr Marcus Lee is certainly good enough to take some minutes . Willie was far below average .

Thank you!! I love these threads asking the same question every week: "What happened to Lee?". Then one of our fans comes back with 'well, he made this mistake here, so he needed to sit.'

Okay... what about the all the other mistakes that the other kids make??????????? Mistakes are part of the game of basketball, they just are! This is a fact. Nobody is perfect. Not one player. Embrace that. Basketball is about overcoming adversity, being fearless, which also means not being afraid of messing up.

Lee has the shortest leash on him, there is no doubt about it and no way to argue it. I've called him Marcus Leash the whole year.

He doesn't bring anything offensively, so if his defense is not on point, you can't play him in a legit game. He gets lost too often.

Yeah, after all the sloppy bricks that WCS threw up today, one would think Lee could be given a longer leash. But what hurts him most is getting lost looking at the ball IAMS loses his man. Somewhere in the tournament (NCAA), he will help us.

He will probably play more tomorrow to give our players some rest. But Lee has to give Calipari a reason to leave him in the game longer. He needs to be grabbing rebounds, blocking shots, and catching oops. When he does those things he is the most effective.

In the last couple of weeks we have seen Coach Cal narrow this down to how he actually likes it and that is 7 or 8 rotation. We have seen Dakari's minutes go down to 10-12 minutes a game. The seven man rotation with Ullis and Booker and Dakari comes in and gives the big man rest and that is about it now. Alot of people were saying that by Tournament time Coach Cal would have this down to 7 or 8 man rotation.

Of course the rotation is down, it obviously wasn't working.LOL Seems like we don't do as good with a shorter rotation. I too have wondered why Marcus Leash is on such a short one! And Dom started a few games and now he never plays. Still think we win it all! GO CATS!!!!!!!!

He'll be fresh tomorrow for the M&M boys if Auburn doesn't come back to beat LSU. Not exactly a bad thing he didn't play much today.
