Is section 17 only for students?

Hey all,

Long time lurker and I'm finally to the point in my life where I can start making it to a Duke game at Cameron Indoor every year or so. I can't wait to go to my first game this year. Anyway, I was looking at tickets on stub hub, and was surprised to see seats for Section 17 available for sale. I thought these seats were only for Undergrad students? Is that still the case? Why are they cheaper than the upper deck seats? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Section 17 is in fact the student section but if you purchase the tickets you can use them without being a student. That is where my tickets were for the 1 game I attended. I think they may be cheaper because there are no actual seats in this section. It is standing room only.

Probably because you have to stand up and cheer with the crazies and that could be a lot of fun. Just don't sit down and yell down in front. :) OFC
