Are we the only ones having that problem? Seems a little ridiculous Rivals hasn't done anything about it

I know the main basketball board has had similar problems but not nowhere close to the extreme level that our football board has had.
It has not been a priority for those responsible for priorities whomever they are out there in computer land.
Before the shift in how the boards were designed/run, denniden and I also had moderator access to The Lounge and the football board. That is no longer the case.
I offered my assistance a few months back to help but never heard back from Rivals. That's all I can pass along.

I was just going to post this. We have only moderator tools to handle the free Duke board now. Yahoo/Rivals is responsible for the rest and like Djay said, they do not respond to the help emails that we send them.
We have had spammers wreaking havoc on the national board for a long time now. Every morning the other two mods and I spend 20-25 minutes cleaning it out. It is a mess and something that those higher up don't seem all that worried about. Still trying to fight the good fight though.

I sent along another email to the folks that run the sites to try and clean up that mess over there. If there are any football threads that those of you want over here. Let me know and I will try and make that happen. For now this has to be the football board if you do not want the spam.
Denn and dj please know I was not referring to you guys as being the responsible peeps as we all understand its beyond your control and you are terrific mods.
I still wish we could get it changed from discuss your 3 time national champions to discuss your 5 time national champions....of course that will be outdated after this season.
Ya'll do a dang good job of getting rid of it on the main board. I see a few stray spam threads here and there over on the main board (that I just ignore to make them go away) but I imagine those are threads that popup after ya'll clean out the majority of spam threads.

The Lounge doesn't bother me personally as I don't use it because mostly I'm just not into the thing that were discussed there but those who use it have the right for it to be in working order. I do use the football board because I am a Duke football fan. Truth be known I've been to more Duke football games in my old fart lifetime than Duke basketball games. I'll just have to accept the way we are having to do it right now until the problem is resolved. It just pisses me off that the unc and UK boards seem fine. Daggummit I just dsoutherd this post.

It sounds like that as of late the UK has also been hit by the spammers.
But the unc boards are clean. Hmmmmm. I know I'm old and senile but this really sounds fishy to me. Is it possible there are some pretty shrewd unc hackers out there. Yes my suspensions are a little far out but unc fans have went pretty far before to make it hard for the Duke program and it's fine. Remember Duke Lx and mike nifong. No one can convince me that he was not out to gt Duke then. OFC
It's annoying and frustrating that the higher ups in rivals that could do something about it or care, do not care and do nothing about it. These forums are a big part of Rivals and it tells me they care little about their product.
I just popped over to the thr and the blitz. No problem. The main college basketball board is constantly being spammed. Is there a connection. Hmmmmm. OFC
